Indeed They Have Invaded. Look Around.

The article I found relates to some of my articles I wrote about on how they talked about people seeing flying saucers and how others see Area 51. The article I found for my blog is called “Indeed They Have Invaded. Look Around.” and it was published on June 15,1997. I read this article on New York Times and if you want to read it here it is http://www.nytimes.com/1997/06/15/arts/indeed-they-have-invaded-look-around.html?pagewanted=all&src=pm

What this article is about is how now days some movies have aliens and UFO stuff in it and how they relate to the news. When reading this they talked a lot about movies than Area 51 but I thought it was pretty interesting because I didn’t know that some movies were made from stories they heard or from the news. In the article they mention Men In Black and Mars Attacks that ever since people started talking about flying saucers and Area 51.  They had more list of movies but the two stood out more since I seen them and they do have aliens coming to earth. When reading the article I thought it was going to be a boring one but when I kept reading it started to catch my attention. The other articles I read didn’t mention anything like this so I just wanted to share that movies and TV shows mention aliens too. I think more and more people will get attach to what lives in space that us human don’t know since movies, news and people talk about it a lot.

  1. I thought your article was pretty interesting because Hollywood has taken a big interest in aliens and UFOs. Its true that more and more people including the news and other social media like to talk about extraterrestrial things. I’m not a huge fan of aliens or anything related to that kind of thing but I know that a lot of people like stirring around this whole thing about aliens. I know that movies that involve area 51 or UFOs are mostly inspired by events. It can even be things that might have happened that give them the inspiration to make a film about. Most of the things we watch are probably a lot of fictional Sci-Fi stuff. I guess it’s all because of the movies that make people wonder if there are really aliens out there somewhere. I’ve seen many videos on YouTube or on the news of UFO sightings but I’m pretty skeptical when it comes to that kind of thing. But who knows if aliens actually exist or not, maybe if there is enough legitimate evidence that proves that they are real I might change my mind. The question I would probably want to ask is why does the media care so much about area 51 and UFOs? There are far more important things to talk and worry about more than aliens. Maybe if we could take this kind of attention or focus and put it somewhere it needs to be like world hunger and helping people in need. We would be getting somewhere instead of being concerned with space invaders.

  2. Do you remember when we were kids? When we were youngsters we believed every little bit of the movie we were watching. It took the schooling like going up through the grades with that experience in life to learn about the truth. “You can’t Handel the truth!!!” Jack Nickel Son says to Tom Cruise in A Few Good Men. Honestly we did not want to know if Santa clause was real or if the tooth fairy really did exchange our teeth for quarters. But that was when we were kids and the old saying “You got to grow up some time kid”. The difference between the fairytales and extra terrestrials is we know that the stories are not true from our childhood, that’s why we call them fairytales. UFO’s are a whole other story that we can’t tell our kids. Well except for E.T. the movie but then again I am back on movies’. I can’t believe a movie unless it says it’s a true story. Don’t get me wrong I would hope there is some kind of life form out there in space. But I have no way to believe any story without any kind of proof that any of its real. True, there might be an area 51 but if there is COOL!! But I will not go looking for answers for an alien race. If there is a race out there then by the time we find it or they find us I’ll probably be an old guy just watching it all happen.

  3. I remember when I was young I wuould go outside at night and look up at the stars and think tha they were alien ships. I dont know if to this day I believe in UFO's because i dont have enough info to believe in them, but i think it would be fun to see them in real life :) But im different than Tyler I do believe things that happe in movies can happen in real life. This world can be really random! Its true we all gotta grow up someday but i also think its good to keep youre inner kid in you, so that you can have some imagintion like believing in UFO's :)

But itisan accepted fact that UFOs have always had an attraction to the lakes and oceans of our planet. One of the most accepted explanations for this attraction is that UFOs have bases under water. Another theory is that UFOs use water as part of their navigation system, or other important ship function
